Klemen Trupej Ceramic Atelier Terms and Conditions · 8 October 2026 · Revision 4 These terms cover bookings, private lessons, gift cards and student accounts at Klemen Trupej Ceramic Atelier. Please read them alongside the details of the class or item you choose. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Effective Date: These terms apply to new bookings and purchases from 8 October 2026. Existing purchases keep the terms agreed when they were made. A dated copy is included with new purchase confirmations. You can also download it here: https://klmnatelier.com/legal/terms-2026-10-08-4.txt Business Information Business Name: Klemen Trupej Ceramic Atelier Owner and contracting party: Klemen Trupej, self-employed Address: Nussdorfer Strasse 80 / Lokal / 5-6, 1090 Vienna, Austria Email: hello@klmnatelier.com Phone: +43 660 898 0303 VAT Number: ATU76792623 Classes and what is included Dates, session times, number of sessions, experience requirements and available spots are shown on each class page and at checkout. The current six-session classes have three-hour sessions. Other classes and private lessons may have different arrangements, which are stated before you book. Prices are in euros and include the applicable VAT. Materials, glazing, firing, an apron and a towel are included in the advertised class price unless the class page expressly states otherwise. Any optional extras and their prices must be agreed before they are supplied. Group classes are confirmed when three participants sign up. The maximum group size is shown on the class page. We email you when the class is confirmed. If the minimum is not reached and we cannot run the class, you may choose an alternative or receive a full refund; you do not have to accept a credit or another date. Participants must be at least 18 years old unless we expressly agree a different arrangement for a suitable private lesson. Booking and payment An account is optional. Review your class, number of spots, contact details, discounts and total before continuing to payment. A temporary checkout reservation is held for 35 minutes. Starting checkout alone does not complete a booking. Your booking or gift-card purchase becomes binding when checkout is successfully completed and we issue the booking or purchase confirmation. A booking covered entirely by a valid discount needs no payment. Confirmation of a booking is separate from confirmation that a group class has reached its minimum size. Payments are processed securely by Stripe using the methods available at checkout. Card payments are paid in full. Cash is not accepted for website bookings. If Klarna is offered and you choose it, Klarna determines eligibility and the payment options, schedule and terms you accept with Klarna. Klarna manages those instalments; they are not a subscription to the atelier. Please check Klarna for your remaining payments. Any cancellation or refund is handled under these terms and applicable law, with the payment adjustment passed to the payment provider. Any instalment arrangement agreed directly with the atelier is separate and follows the written amount, schedule and payment method agreed with you. Automatic charges are made only where you have authorised them. Missed sessions do not by themselves cancel outstanding instalments; applicable cancellation, refund and consumer rights still apply. When booking multiple spots, the person making the purchase is our booking contact. Please share class information with the other participants and provide only details you have permission to share. Prices are per person unless expressly stated otherwise. Contact us if you need to change a participant or cancel only part of a group booking. Cancellations by participants Courses: We offer a full refund for cancellation at least 72 hours before the first session begins. Within 72 hours of the first session, a refund is available if a suitable replacement takes the cancelled spot. Please contact us promptly so we can confirm the replacement and refund arrangements. This policy is additional to any mandatory statutory rights. Private lessons: You may cancel a private lesson before the appointment for a full refund. Missed sessions: If you miss a session, we do not ordinarily provide a make-up session or a refund for that absence. This does not limit your rights where the atelier fails to provide the agreed service. How to cancel: Please email hello@klmnatelier.com or contact us with your booking reference and, for a group booking, the spots you wish to cancel. An eligible partial cancellation is calculated using the amount actually paid for the affected spot or spots, including the discounts applied. Deleting an account does not cancel a booking. Refunds: Refunds are made to the original payment method unless we expressly agree another method without an additional charge to you. Discounts are not refunded as cash. Refunds affect points earned and rewards used, as explained below. The time a completed refund takes to appear depends on your payment provider. Statutory withdrawal rights Fixed-date leisure classes: For pottery classes and private lessons booked for specified dates or a specified period as leisure activities, the exception in section 18(1)(10) of the Austrian Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG) applies. There is no statutory 14-day withdrawal right for bookings that meet this exception. Our cancellation policy above still applies. Where a booking does not meet a legal exception, statutory withdrawal rights remain available. Gift-card purchases: Gift cards purchased online without a fixed class date are covered by withdrawal rights. You may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after the contract is concluded. For our physical gift cards, we additionally allow withdrawal until 14 days after you or your chosen recipient receives the card. You may notify us before the card arrives. Adding names to the card does not remove this right. How to withdraw: Use https://klmnatelier.com/withdrawal/ or send an unequivocal statement to Klemen Trupej, Nussdorfer Strasse 80 / Lokal / 5-6, 1090 Vienna, Austria, or hello@klmnatelier.com. Sending the declaration before the deadline is sufficient. You do not need an account, a reason or our model form. The online form sends an acknowledgement to the email address you provide. Effect of withdrawal: We refund the payments covered by a valid withdrawal, including standard delivery charges, without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving your declaration, using the original payment method unless another no-cost method is expressly agreed. The gift card is cancelled so it can no longer be redeemed. We do not require you to post the physical card back. Any mandatory rights relating to services or goods already supplied remain unaffected. Model withdrawal declaration: To Klemen Trupej Ceramic Atelier, Nussdorfer Strasse 80 / Lokal / 5-6, 1090 Vienna, Austria; hello@klmnatelier.com. I/we hereby withdraw from the contract for the following goods or services: [describe purchase and reference]. Ordered on: [date]. Received on: [date, if applicable]. Name of consumer(s): [name]. Address of consumer(s): [address]. Date: [date]. Signature of consumer(s): [only if sent on paper]. Delete whichever does not apply. Gift cards Gift cards are physical value cards for pottery classes, private lessons or ceramic pieces at the atelier. Choose an advertised value or a custom amount within the limits shown. The value and total price are confirmed before payment. Delivery and pickup: Standard postage to Austria and Germany is free. You may instead collect the card at the atelier by arrangement; a phone number is required so we can arrange collection. We prepare cards after payment, send them without undue delay and, unless a different date is expressly agreed, deliver within 30 days of the purchase. Contact us before ordering if you need a card for a particular date. Redemption: Contact hello@klmnatelier.com with the card details to arrange redemption before paying for a booking or ceramic piece. Redemption is subject to class availability and the applicable class terms; a card does not reserve a place. If the price is higher than the available value, you pay the difference. An unused balance remains available for a later purchase. Validity and transfer: Gift cards may be given to another person. We do not impose a shorter expiry than the applicable statutory limitation period, generally 30 years for an unexpired value claim under Austrian law. Keep the card or purchase reference safe and contact us promptly if it is lost; we will check whether the unredeemed value can be identified. Gift-card balances are not ordinarily exchanged for cash, except where withdrawal, cancellation or other mandatory rights require a refund. Purchasing a gift card does not itself earn atelier points; eligible spending when the card is redeemed is credited once. Contact us when redeeming so the card value, any discounts and points can be recorded correctly. Atelier points You earn 1 atelier point for each full €10 spent on eligible classes or purchases in the atelier. For website class bookings, points are calculated from the amount actually paid after discounts, and are credited when the booking is completed. Previous eligible spending may be added by the atelier. Gift-card purchases are not counted twice. Use 100 available points for 15% off one spot on your next class booking. One points reward may be used per booking, including a booking for several people. You must sign in to use your points. The checkout total shows the reward before you commit. Only the 100 points used for the reward are deducted; your remaining points stay available. For example, using a reward from a balance of 215 points leaves 115 points. Points temporarily held for an unfinished checkout become available again when the reservation is released or expires. A valid discount code may be used together with a points reward. The points reward is applied first; a percentage code then applies to the remaining price. A fixed-value code reduces that remaining price, up to the amount due. The checkout total shows the final calculation. Refunds adjust points earned to reflect the amount retained. Points used for a fully refunded booking are restored to an active account. A partial refund may proportionately restore redeemed points. Adjustments and corrections appear in your points history; if refunded spending removes points you have already used, the balance may become negative. Points are personal rewards, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and have no scheduled expiry under the current programme. Deleting your account removes unused points. Future programme changes will be communicated before they take effect and will not change completed bookings or remove earned rewards retrospectively without a lawful basis. Discount codes Enter a discount code at class checkout before completing the booking. Codes may reduce the price by a fixed euro amount or a percentage. Their eligibility, expiry and usage limit are stated when issued. An expiry date runs through the end of that day in Vienna time. Only one code may be used per booking; it may be combined with an atelier-points reward. A code cannot reduce the total below zero, and unused discount value is not paid out or carried forward. A successfully completed booking counts as one use, even if it contains several spots. Refunded bookings do not automatically reset the code’s usage limit; contact us if a code needs to be reissued. Participants aged 25 or younger and unemployed individuals registered with AMS receive the existing 10% discount on courses and private lessons using the applicable code. This is trust-based; proof is not required. Please use a code only if its eligibility conditions apply to you. Accounts and My pieces You can purchase without creating an account. An optional account brings your class details, booking history and atelier points together. Sign-in uses an email link or code; there is no account password to remember. Keep access to your email secure and do not share sign-in links or codes. My pieces is available to eligible students, including returning students whose access has been enabled by the atelier. You may save photos, clay details, glazes, coat counts and notes about your own work. Your library is private and is not shown to other students. You keep ownership of your photos and other content. You give the atelier only the permission needed to store, display and maintain that content for your private library. It is not permission to use it for advertising. Upload only content you have the right to use, and obtain permission before including another person or their work. Unlawful or harmful content may be removed for a stated reason. You may delete individual photos, pieces or your account yourself. Keep your own copies of important photos and notes. Account deletion removes your private library and unused points, but does not cancel bookings, cancel payments still due or erase records that must be retained. See https://klmnatelier.com/privacy-policy/ for the deletion process, retained records and how your data is protected. Health, safety and liability Please follow studio instructions, use equipment as demonstrated and let the teacher know if you need an adjustment to work safely. If you have a pacemaker or another medical device, or a health concern relevant to using an electric pottery wheel, seek advice from your treating clinician before booking and contact us to discuss suitable arrangements. You do not need to share a detailed medical history with other participants. We take reasonable care when providing classes and handling your work. Our liability is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit liability for personal injury, intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any other liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Ceramics can crack, warp or change colour during drying and firing, and glaze results vary. These normal material characteristics mean a particular result cannot be guaranteed. This does not excuse negligent handling or defective performance by the atelier, and your statutory rights remain unaffected. Code of Conduct The atelier is a shared space for learning and making. We ask everyone to help keep it welcoming, respectful and comfortable. Respect for others: Please treat fellow students and the teacher with consideration, and respect everyone’s personal space and boundaries. Harassment, discrimination, insults or derogatory comments—including those relating to someone’s identity, background, disability or mental health—are not acceptable. Clothing and preparation: Please wear comfortable, washable clothing suitable for working in a shared studio. Tops should cover your chest and midriff and stay securely in place as you move. Further preparation guidance is included in your class details. Working safely: Please follow the teacher’s instructions and ask before using unfamiliar equipment or materials. Let the teacher know if something feels unsafe. Please do not attend under the influence of alcohol or other substances that affect your ability to work safely. Care for the studio and other people’s work: Handle tools and equipment with care, and leave your workspace clean. Please ask before touching or moving another person’s pieces, tools or belongings. Photos and privacy: You are welcome to photograph your own work. Please ask before photographing, recording or sharing images of other people or their pieces. If a concern arises: Please speak to the teacher if something makes you uncomfortable. Concerns will be handled discreetly. Wherever possible, we will explain the issue and give the person an opportunity to resolve it. Serious or repeated harmful behaviour, unsafe conduct or deliberate damage may result in participation being ended. Changes or cancellations by the atelier We may make minor, objectively justified adjustments to teaching content or the order of demonstrations while preserving the agreed class scope. We will inform you promptly about changes affecting your booking. If we cancel a class before it starts, you may choose an alternative or receive a full refund. If we cannot provide remaining sessions after a class has started, you may choose suitable replacement sessions or a refund for the unprovided part. You do not have to accept an alternative. If we materially change the dates or other essential features, you may decline the change and cancel the affected booking for a refund of the unprovided part, or the full amount if the course has not started. Any further mandatory remedies remain available. Participation and studio conduct Future bookings: As the studio owner and teacher, I reserve the right to decide whether to accept a new booking, subject to applicable law, including equality rules. This includes declining future bookings from someone who has previously treated me or others disrespectfully or refused to follow reasonable studio guidance. Available spots and whether a class is suitable for the participant may also be considered. Attendance at one class does not guarantee acceptance into future classes. Once a booking has been accepted, the rules for accepted bookings below apply. Accepted bookings: I may pause or end participation where there are objectively justified, specific grounds to protect my own or another person’s safety, dignity or comfort in the studio. Grounds may include serious or repeated insults, intimidation, harassment, aggressive behaviour, unwanted personal contact, repeated disregard for personal boundaries, unsafe conduct, deliberate damage or substantial disruption of the class. Relevant earlier incidents may be considered. Personal dislike or a disagreement alone is not sufficient to end an accepted booking. Clothing: The same reasonable clothing guidance applies to everyone. Tops should cover the chest and midriff and stay securely in place while moving. If clothing does not meet this guidance, I may ask the participant to add a suitable layer or change before continuing. Refusing a reasonable request, or repeatedly disregarding the guidance after it has been explained, may lead to refusal of future bookings or, where objectively justified and proportionate, participation in an accepted booking being paused or ended. A single clothing incident is not automatically grounds for permanent exclusion; we will first consider a practical way to resolve the concern. Resolving concerns: Where appropriate, I will explain the concern privately and give the person an opportunity to resolve it. Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary to protect someone from serious harm or harassment. Action affecting an accepted booking must be proportionate to the circumstances and comply with applicable law. Fair decisions: These rights will not be exercised on discriminatory grounds or merely because someone has a disability or mental-health condition. Where relevant, we will consider reasonable adjustments that allow safe and respectful participation. Studio guidance is applied consistently to all participants. Refunds and existing rights: If a booking is not accepted, any payment taken is refunded. If we end an accepted booking, we refund the unprovided part of the class. A refund does not replace the need for lawful grounds to end an accepted booking. There is no automatic forfeiture of the full class fee; any separate, legally established claim for damage and any further mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Your work and collection You retain rights in the work you create. Guidance from the teacher does not transfer ownership of your designs to the atelier. Please ask before photographing or recording others or sharing images of their work. We will let you know when finished pieces are ready. Please arrange collection within two months of that notice, or contact us to agree another arrangement. Before taking further steps with uncollected work, we will send a reminder with a reasonable additional collection deadline. Ownership does not automatically lapse after two months; any further handling or disposal must comply with applicable law. Questions and applicable rights For booking changes, payment questions, gift-card redemption or complaints, please contact hello@klmnatelier.com or +43 660 898 0303. We will review the issue and respond without undue delay. Applicable statutory warranty, refund and consumer protection rights remain in place. Nothing in these terms restricts the consumer’s mandatory rights or access to the courts available under applicable law. Updates to these terms apply to future purchases; changes to an existing booking require a lawful basis or your agreement.
